Vivek succumbed to Sickle Cell Anemia while in class ten. In his name
the Vivek D'Souza Memorial Trophy is handed to the best footballer
every year.

Was the best long jumper & triple jumper in school. Indeed a star athlete and a great footballer. Still remember the few days before he passed away. The new
boots waiting to be worn at the Inter class which never took off for
him and his body as it was put into the tempo traveller to be moved to
